Replace the languages in your phone's speech application. Simply select a language from the Term Bank, download it to your phone's memory card, and select the language in the speech applications.


  1. You can transfer language or voice packages from the attached CD ROM to your phone, for example, with the help of a computer. If you transfer language and/or voice packages with the PC Suite application, store them in the c:\nokia\installs folder of your phone.
     
  2. Open the Application Manager, browse to the installation package and start installation by selecting Options -> Install. Alternatively, you can browse the installable language/voice file from the telephone's memory or memory card, select the file and start the installation.
     
The installed languages and voices are displayed in the Speech application (see Speech). You should install at least one voice per installed language. For example, if you want to install English and the voice called Ellen, install the following packages: English (UK).sis and Ellen-English (UK).sis.
Mail for Exchange
With Mail for Exchange client, you can access the email, calendar, contacts (address book), and tasks of your Microsoft® Exchange account on your mobile device. Keeping the entries on your mobile device updated with the entries on your Exchange account is possible through the process of synchronization.

Installing phone software

  • Download the file to a compatible PC. If it is a ZIP file, you may need to extract it manually before continuing.
  • Transfer it to your phone using Nokia PC Suite and a Nokia Connectivity Cable CA-53 or wireless connection.
